The idea I had when having my hair coloured.

Sitting in my favourite hairdressers, covered in tin foil, my eyes began to wander. I looked around the salon and noticed a decorative mirror and some lights that looked strangely familiar.

Then the penny dropped. I'd seen a lot of the decorative furniture in this salon in John Lewis. And some of the lighting looked like it came from IKEA.

Chatting to my stylist, it quickly became obvious that there was nowhere that people in the hair and beauty trade could buy huge mirrors and stunning pieces of furniture. Which is why most of them end up shopping on the high street.

I'd spent the last few years discovering the sources of unusual, striking, stylish furnishings for the general public. So when I got home that evening I set about making a collection with hair and beauty salons in mind.

Which is why you're here. My Beautiful Salon was the result of that Eureka! moment.
